Nagpur Sub-City Heat Action Round Table
In collaboration with NRDC, we brought together policymakers, civic leaders, urban planners, climate experts, academics, and industry professionals at the Indian Institute of Management Nagpur for the Sub-City Heat Action Round Table.
The round table served as a platform to bridge research, policy, and implementation, with discussions centred on developing hyper-local heat action strategies, strengthening public health systems, expanding access to affordable cooling, and mobilising climate finance to translate ideas into action. It also marked the inaugural event of the Government of Maharashtra’s newly established Centre of Excellence on Heat Resilience and Cooling Solutions.
